Children’s Dental came out in support of the St. George Children’s Museum fundraiser this weekend.  Families came to enjoy the St. George splash pad, ride the carousel, and visit vendors like us.  We held a drawing for $100 off of any treatment or a fun filled gift basket! Like always, the kids loved getting a free Children’s Dental balloon..

Our office may seem a little short staffed in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for bearing with us…these two amazing ladies will be having babies and will be out on maternity leave to spend some time with their newborns and their other kids. Good Luck to Kirsten and Jessica!
 

Children’s Dental and Dr. Scholzen are excited be a part of the annual kite festival. This is a huge event for all of the kids in Washington County Schools and our patients. It is neat to see the kids being rewarded for spending time reading. Reading is such an important part of a child’s learning and that is why give away books at every dental visit. Before we opened we talked about what we could give for prizes and we just couldn’t bring ourselves to spend the money on little toys that will just break the second you walk out the door….so….we decided to give away books instead. Dr. Scholzen struggled with reading growing up but he is a prime example of not giving up and working hard…if a child learns to read…that child will be successful at whatever they decide to do!

Spring is finally here and Tifnee..the red head at the office…thought her legs could use a little sun and springtime air. (A little fun makes going to the dentist so much better!)
 

Our little guy is having a rough time fighting RSV. He was admitted this week to the hospital and has been on high flow oxygen for a number of days and they have kept him longer than they usually do with babies his age. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers…we need them. We know he will pull through!

Happy National Dental Health Month!  We love the opportunity to share the excitement of good oral health by offering field trips to our office or sending our staff out to you for a hands on experience. Thank you Washington Community Center Preschool for the opportunity to have us come and teach your kids how to brush and how to take care of their teeth through proper diet, brushing, and flossing.
